Thrift haul/styling

Hello there! Im back for another post i'm excited to share with you guys and it has something to do with Styling my Thrift store Finds.
So last week i went thrifting because why not, you get pretty good deals and you don't have to worry about wearing the same outfit with anybody-- ugh total no no right? I got a few things from the thrift store but i decided to style this sweater. Which is perfect for the cold weather right now in the Philippines. Enough said, let's get started with the outfit!

So the thrifted item for this outfit is the sweater with the gingham pattern which is a little bit cropped.
  • I paired the sweater with a black skater skirt, this way the sweater is the main focus of your outfit keeping it balanced.
  • Paired along with black sneakers from Carvil to give the outfit a laid back/edgy look.
  • I completed the look wit my satchel/messenger bag from Bayo and some bracelets for accessories.

  • The sweater is not that cropped, so it can still be worn at school but if your school has a very strict dress code, no worries because you can always layer on your clothes.
  • You can wear something underneath your sweater. Maybe collared shirts/blouses will give you that extra warmth and give it a more 3-dimmensional look. Or maybe put on a trench coat for added cover up.
  • Speaking of the cold weather, you can also wear black shear tights or knee high socks for added warmth.

Cropped sweaters are really on trend right now. It reminds me of the movie Clueless, with their prim and proper classy and chic outfits. You can never go wrong with styling these sweaters. Just experiment and put your own style in your outfit.

That is all for today! If you're loving my blog posts so far stay updated by following my blog. Show some love hihi. 'Til next time.

                                         xoxo, Martina
